the industry in green construction. Always a leader,
Flintco established the benchmark in green construction
through early adoption and ongoing education on emerging
techniques and products that result in buildings in sync
with the environmental needs of the area and its users.
For several years Flintco has been a member of the
U.S. Green Building Council, which is the nation's foremost
coalition of leaders working to promote buildings that
are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy
places to live and work.
Flintco's 15 LEED® (Leadership in Energy & Environmental
Design)

the client
and project team successfully through the LEED® project
certification
process.
With the Federal Campus in downtown Oklahoma City, Okla.,
Flintco became
one of the first companies to construct a project for
the General Services Administration that followed the
LEED® silver
certification standards. Flintco has since been involved
in several other projects obtaining LEED® certification
including the soon to be completed
Science and Engineering Building on the new University
of California campus in Merced, Calif. which has been
designed and constructed to achieve silver LEED® certification. |
