  • The building serves as a recruitment tool that visibly promotes the CNM Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) programs and the dual credit programs with AIMS charter school.
  • It features new labs and classrooms for chemistry, anatomy physiology, geology, biology and physics. Instructional labs have teaching stations with controls for audio and visual equipment and automated shades at new windows that provide greater energy efficiency.
  • The project is aimed at achieving LEED Silver certification.
  • The building will be part of the pilot project for CNM to implement the ‘green cleaning’ system and develop an interactive ‘green education’ program.
