Description:

• The wooden platform, designed to simulate an African hut, provides zoo guests the ability to see wild, exotic giraffes up close in a safe manner.
• This feeding deck is a shining star for the Tulsa Zoo, allowing guests the opportunity to interact with a wild animal.
• Trex Deck, a no-maintenance material that is made out of recycled milk jugs, was utilized as a wood decking replacement for the flooring to mitigate wear and maintenance concerns.
• Through Value Analysis, Flintco provided several cost- and time-saving alternatives to the client. The final project came in at $378,665, resulting in a 6.86% savings.
