Description:

  • This addition to the University of Oklahoma campus lays claim to some of the most important cultural treasures in the United States.
  • The south rotunda features a bronze statue of a woolly mammoth which is so large that the glass walls were erected after the sculpture was set in place.
  • The museum includes exhibit space, research offices and labs, receiving and preparation areas, seminar rooms, a banquet area and artifact storage with tight environmental controls.
