Description:

  • The museum houses many nationally recognized pieces of our country's western and American Indian art.
  • The four-phased project required expert scheduling to maintain the pace of construction around the facility's seven-day-per-week hours of operation.
  • The expansions allow for the rearrangement of gallery and curatorial spaces, placing of all the gallery spaces on the main level and the curatorial and storage functions on the lower level.
  • A new ballroom, office space, boardroom, entry and main corridors, a Western plaza, front entry plaza, fountains, a museum store and new state-of-the-art flexible gallery and exhibit space makes the facility an excellent forum for showing and integrating art with its architectural surroundings.
