110,000 square feet

  • Three-story facility has 15 galleries, a theatre, lounge, visitor services, library resource center, classrooms and administrative offices.
  • World-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly created a monumental signature sculpture for the center - the largest blown glass sculpture in the world at 55 feet tall and 12 feet in diameter, tapering to eight feet in diameter at the top.
  • Interior materials selected from original Centre Theatre elements (limestone, glass, metal and natural woods) invoke warmth, elegance and simplicity and incorporate  “green” design principles.
  • Original features have been restored and are featured in the theater lobby.
  • Privately funded capital including a grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.
