- Consisting of 51,000 square feet with two MRI
rooms, linear accelerator, and branch therapy rooms,
this fast-track project was completed in nine months.
- The Linear Accelerator vault consists of four-foot
thick concrete walls and a roof slab which was completed
in two months. Over 750 cubic yards of concrete was
placed for the structure.
- The floor is conventional slab- on-grade
construction with structural steel as the framing
members. The exterior is brick, arriscraft, pre-cast
and FRP copings. A separate mechanical penthouse is
located on the roof.
- Due to the teamwork approach used in this
project, Flintco staff was roughing in conduit
and utilities prior to the
final design of the medical equipment.
