- Located just two blocks from the Alfred
P. Murrah Building, which was destroyed in a terrorist
attack, this project consists of a three-story office building
on one block.
- Parking and extensive landscaping are located on
an adjoining block.
- Facility includes 140,000 square feet of
computer access flooring for security/communications and
computer systems.
- First federal facility designed to meet
new anti-terrorist force protection requirements.
- Superstructure is cast-in-place concrete
frame with cast-in-place concrete bearing walls.
- The building exterior envelope consists
of a flat roof, the cast-in-place concrete bearing
walls, laminated glass curtain wall system and laminated
glass punched window opening.
- Project was designed and constructed to
achieve a “LEED” (Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design) silver rating.
