- Phase 1 included substantial completion
of the new juvenile hall while Phase 2 included demolition
of existing facilities and completion of the outdoor
play area.
- The
project included a new 42,000-square-foot two-story
facility; demolition of the existing 8,200-square-foot
housing unit; remodel of existing 8,066-square-foot
remaining court and probation office building.
- Facility is comprised of slab-on-grade
concrete masonry unit walls and steel frame roofing
assemblies.
- It contains two floor elevators, fire sprinkler
system, mechanical and plumbing systems, electrical
and security systems, detention grade doors, windows
and hardware.
- Project
sits on a 1.5 acre site. Work included below grade
utilities and storm drains, sewer lines, and relocating
the existing emergency power generator and enclosure.
