PROJECT DATA
- Originally built in 1937 as an all-purpose event center, the 300,000-square-foot Civic Center was due for a massive renovation.
- New balconies, box seats, private suites, atrium, practice rooms, dressing rooms and a hydraulic orchestra pit increase the usability of the center.
- The terrazzo in the lobby, light fixtures, grand stairs, marble, doors, frames, and hardware is refurbished.
- The Little Theater and Hall of Mirrors are current with American Disabilities Act (ADA) and fire codes.
- An addition on the west end makes room for a loading dock area and an expanded stage to store the stage towers.
