• This is the largest new development undertaken by Dickerson Park Zoo.
• It consists of additions to animal exhibits including Asian elephant, gibbon, tiger, hoofstock, colobus, wolf, mountain lion, deer and turkey as well as new restroom facilities and animal quarantine.
• Each exhibit has fully fenced exterior holding yards. The existing animal hospital, maintenance building, giraffe and elephant barns were completely renovated.
• All exhibits, including the animal hospital, remained open and operational throughout all phases of construction.
