PROJECT DATA
- This 78,000-square-foot project consists of the renovation of
an existing three-story building and the addition of a new
two-story wing.
- The Chapman Great Reading Room has 50-foot tall cathedral
ceilings, and floor to ceiling architectural window treatments at
each end.
- The Great Reading Room is finished in meticulously crafted red
oak.
- The facility includes a courtroom that seats 250 and is used to
hold the Law Student's moot court cases, it also is used by the
Oklahoma State Supreme Court and will handle actual Federal Court
Dockets.
- The remainder of the building is used to house over 300,000
volumes of legal text and is considered by many "the leading legal
research facility in Oklahoma".
- This project received awards for construction excellence from
both the Associated Builders & Contractors and the Associated
General Contractors.
