PROJECT DATA

• Funded through the Community Action Project, this childcare facility offers more than 30,000 square feet of classroom spaces for studens in Tulsa Public Schools.
• The new facility offers four classrooms for ages zero to three and four classrooms for ages four and five as well as training spaces for workers and administrative space.
• The unique pod layout of the classrooms incorporates covered canopies, expansive windows, a playground with water play activities, trike (three-wheeler) paths and multiple textured play surfaces.
• The structure is conventional structural steel on drilled piers and grade beams, and the exterior enclosure includes stone, EIFS and metal roofing.
• The interior finishes include unique window shapes, inlayed designs in the floor tile, wood ceilings, glass block, and extensive ceiling drops in the common areas between pods with stenciled artwork.
• As a testament to the quality of the construction, all punch list items were completed within 30 days of substantial completion.
