PROJECT DATA

• This 286,900-square-foot project includes three new housing units, an all purpose building, new fencing and upgrade of the security systems.
• This 1,480 bed medium security prison is an expanded concept of similar facilities built in two other Oklahoma communities.
• The housing units are built in the "bowtie" configuration that has proved to be a highly efficient and flexible solution since the original facility was constructed.
• The design model for the private prison housing buildings came directly from the concept REES completed for the State of Oklahoma Department of Corrections in the late 1980's.
• Before completion of this addition, it became evident that more space was needed so an additional two housing buildings were added to the original project.
