PROJECT DATA

• The 336 foot tower replaces the current 200 foot tower and is the third tallest air traffic control tower in the South.
• The tower is topped with an 850-square-foot cab.
• At the base of the tower is a 24,850-square-foot facility that includes administrative offices, training areas and an expanded radar approach for controlling traffic.
• A parking lot, environmental support building, roadways, perimeter security and appurtenances are also included.
• Work on the project also included the demolition of the existing cast-in-place concrete tower and the single story TRACON base building with a full basement.
